Homemade soft pretzels...and homegrown tomatoes..

Made a batch for my snack during college football game watching yesterday..... (for recipe check sidebar under soft pretzel for link)

My tomatoes are coming on finally...I planted late. Apparently I have many more yellow than red ones..but they are all so good!

WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
