Thanks for the BIRTHDAY wishes everyone! I am still sick but I do appreciate the visits and well wishes! Let us not forget all those who have given up their lives for our freedom.....and what our freedom today means! AND let us not forget all those who continue to serve our country.....protecting us....keeping us safe......and free...

WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
