gorgeous sunset January 16, 2011 in Darke County, Ohio

I was walking into my laundry room to do some laundry when I happened to notice some orange glow coming in my back window. When I looked out I saw this most gorgeous sunset...so I snapped a few shots. Isn't it beautiful??

The sunset last night.......

I was out running a few errands and happened to look up and see this magnificent sunset.....God has created an amazing world......

Sunset Friday evening......

Excuse the bugs on my windshield......

driving home last night and the clouds and sun setting.....

I was driving at the wrong angle to take these shots and I knew it...but took some anyway.  I also took these all through my dirty window as I was driving along...the clouds looked like someone painted the sky with swirls of paint ....looked like marble!

Sunset June 25, 2008........

these were taken driving home from my grandmother's house.....through my windshield.....yes......as I was driving..I KNOW I KNOW.....I am careful.....

anyway....the sky looked like it was on fire behind the clouds right above the tree line.....it was very odd looking but beautiful!

THEN as we drove into town the sky had turned to this with this very strange solid BLUISH wedge in the middle of these gorgeous orange sherbet colored clouds...







This was a delight for me to see as I drove home.....and I was surprised they still turned out so well as they were all shot through my dirty windshield and side window!

right before a big storm moved in!

the sky has been quite hazy every night the last few nights....so it makes the sky look very odd. The other night driving home from my parents...a HUGE thunderstorm was moving into our area as we got closer...the sun got covered by the clouds very quickly and we got home right before it started to POUR......this is the sunset right before the last big thunderstorm cloud swallowed it up!

a sunset I followed in April 2008.......

This is another sunset I snapped shots of again driving home....the first shot is snapped out my front windshield as I was driving....then I drove further down the road to a clear spot and actually parked the car for a change and snapped the rest as the sun went down out my car window!

gorgeous sunset last night......I took all these while driving......yeah I know.....not really smart....CLICK TO ENLARGE!!

I just roll the window down......and hold the camera up.....and click. I rarely even really look at what I am snapping..just try to make sure the sun is in view and my eyes on the road as I snap 3 photos in a row. It was spectacular last night......I left them uploaded on BLOGGER as is BUT CLICK ON THE SMALLER PHOTOS TO ENLARGE THEM and see them in their full beauty! THEY ARE INCREDIBLE SHOTS.......
