Interesting tombstones.........over 100 years old....

Anonymous said...: The name Mundhenk has been around Darke County forever. In Gordon, for example there was George Mundhenk who lived on North Street. I have photos of him and his wife sitting on their porch.

Another Mundhenk owned the grocery store on the south end of town. He was one of the early settlers there.

I was reading your headline about 100 years old and got to thinking I will be 74 so those people had not been buried long when I was born. LOL; May 4, 2008 at 4:16 PM

WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
