I woke up to a winter wonderland outside my windows.....frost was on everything. SO after dropping Noah off to school I headed to the park to snap a few shots......
Nice set of photos. I like the ducks feet. You would think they would get really, really cold. I don't understand how birds and animals out doors can stand walking around on the snow and ice. Love you.
Melinda, these are very nice shots. I also got an email from an old Army friend who lives in Texas. Here is what he had to say about your photos.
"My your daughter surely is a gifted photographer. I enjoyed looking at her pics on her blog. They sure eclipse anything of mine. With her eye, she could really go places in that field I think.
"Also still enjoying your work too, Abraham. I ran across an interesting story, the link is below. I you the best for the holidays, take care..............Best to you all..........Harry"
Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.
Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.
I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!

Very nice photos of the frost. I also like the ducks feet and how they are laying on the ice. I think that's crazy, imagine how cold that would be!
The place looks magical. I love the photos of the birds. Amazing how the manage to stay warm.
