Ludlow Falls........

I stopped by Saturday hoping to still catch the falls frozen......or partially. I guess they still were but not as much as I would have liked. I should have gone about a week ago I suppose......but it was still beautiful.

Patty said...: I wonder if they had lights down there this year at Christmas? I don't remember seeing any ads about it. You can see some spots that are still frozen. I'm sure we'll have more freezing days and you'll be able to get more photos. I wonder what Bear's Mill has? I like the video and the sound of the falls. Melinda said...: someone had told me they had stopped doing the lights....then they did them again. I think they did them because there were still lights up around the firehouse....but maybe not.....there are some houses close by but unless you are right down by the falls up on the street where the houses are you do not really hear much. WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
