The snow has stopped...the sun is out and I wish I had more salt!
Lowes sold out of rock/ice melting salt in our area a long time ago. I wish I had some because after finally shoveling the last time I think.......at least for this blizzard .....if I had some salt to put down now.....combined with the sun my drive would be completely snow/ice-free and dry! Oh well.......at least I am shoveled out......including what the snow plow left behind at the end of my drive when he finally came by a few minutes ago! This is what it looks like now! I am not sure how much we got but each time I went out I had well over 6 inches. The third time I shoveled my drifts in the drive were all over 2-feet deep. So I love to shovel and am ANAL about leaving snow behind.....which is why I wish I had more salt. I went out and shoveled up everything the plow left....and even a spot for my mailman to be able to pull in by my mailbox. I hope the plow does not come by again and plow everything in again!
Looks like here, I also shoveled out my drive to the road. Tipp City measured in at 15 inches of snow! Crazy weather...last weekend I had the windows open because it was in the 60's.
Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.
Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.
I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!

Yes you do a good job shoveling snow, Melinda. We could have hired you. LOL.
You really did a nice job there in the street.
Our driveway is clean finally and looks OK. Seems like we got more snow piled up than you show.
Wow! All that snow! Great job shoveling. I wouldn't know how to start shoveling. ;-) Continue to keep warm and safe.
