Nice perspective. I like the photo. What kind of camera do you use? I know it is a p&s but what brand and style. I have been researching them so I can have it tucked in the diaper bag to capture those spur of the moment images without having to take the SLR with me.; June 21, 2008 at 2:49 AM
Melinda said...: hey there! I used a Lumix DMC-TZ1....it is only 5 MP...but takes the best photos of any camera I have ever had! The shots are crisp, clean and vibrant colors! It also has a zoom feature....automatic is 10X but you can go to 40X !!; June 21, 2008 at 7:11 AM

WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
