Sunset June 25, 2008........

these were taken driving home from my grandmother's house.....through my windshield.....yes......as I was driving..I KNOW I KNOW.....I am careful.....

anyway....the sky looked like it was on fire behind the clouds right above the tree line.....it was very odd looking but beautiful!

THEN as we drove into town the sky had turned to this with this very strange solid BLUISH wedge in the middle of these gorgeous orange sherbet colored clouds...

This was a delight for me to see as I drove home.....and I was surprised they still turned out so well as they were all shot through my dirty windshield and side window!

Once again some fantastic sunsets. We're always a day late and a dollar short. LOL We certainly had enough thunderstorms yesterday and last night, didn't we? Hope Noah is all relaxed from his hospital visit that turned out he didn't need the surgery after all. That was so great and what a relief.

well I was going to head to Suttons to get gas but when we went to leave grandma's at 8:50 I saw the sky to the west and WOW. I forgot about the gas and headed to the country to take some shots! As usual it moved quickly and changed rapidly but the sight of these sunsets always excites me.

Absolutely love the colors! My favorite shot in that series is the one with the 2 lights hanging. Very unusual shot!

I'm really impressed with the colors on all your photographs, by the way! The flowers, the peacock, the skies... They look fantastic! Do you enhance them or do they come out of the camera that way? Just curious (I am a beginner point-and-shoot photographer).

I also like how you formated your blog so nothing distracts the eyes from the photographs. It looks great.

they come off my camera that way. I do not enhance them......or change them....unless I make them black and white ....otherwise what you see is how they are taken with my Lumix. I have been told they are vibrant colors and I do agree they are! Thanks for your visits and comments by the way! I appreciate it! ;)
