Patty said...: It rained here off and on all day yesterday. Miserable day for the Community Picnic. Sun came out later afternoon. I went over around 5 to feed the cats, and finished watching a movie with them, that i had started to watch here at home. I didn't realize it was going to be on from 2pm till 6pm. So I rushed over to feed the cats, and then watched the rest of the movie with the indoor cats. LOL; July 26, 2009 at 10:01 AM

WHY the name PHOTOGRAPHY FOR DUMMIES?

Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.

Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.

I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
