Driving home from my grandmother's house my son and I noticed the moon! It was HUGE and very low in the sky and behind some amazingly dark, black clouds. It was nighttime and it reminded us of a harvest moon.......very yellow/gold in color. It was gorgeous so I had to quickly find a place to pull over and snap a few.

Mom said the moon was orange, so whil we were talking I walked out onto the paito to take a look, but by that time it was very white and bright with sort of like a slight gold ring around the edges. I missed the Harvest Moon as Mom called it.
