Nice photos. That reflection on his what looks like a forehead makes him look like he's got on some armor. I still don't like any bug that can sting me. Love you
More wonderful shots. Never used to appreciate them but I do know, especially because of these vivid shots. I tried to photograph some bees last summer but they never stayed long enough on one flower. They kept flying from one flower to the other and I was afraid I'd get stung. ;-) Got any tips for photographing them?
well I had my moments of jumping around and squealing too! I just got up as close as I could and started snapping away. I was using MACRO mode and I usually set my camera to snap at least THREE shots at a time. USUALLY ONE of those end up being really good. SO get up close....and just start snapping away!
Because I don't know much about the digital cameras I have used over the years....and yet I am able to take photographs. I have never made it through my entire instruction manual for any of my cameras. I started out with a little cheap 1MP camera.....and progressed from there. I still only have a 5MP Lumix.
Can I explain much about the settings I use or how I captured the shots I have? No, not really. Does that negate the value of the photo? No, not really. They are what they are and can more than stand alone based on their own value.
I want this blog to inspire and encourage even those who think they are clueless or a "dummy" when it comes to taking pictures to just get out there and DO IT! After all if I can get these shots....I am pretty sure you could too!
