inch worm......inch worm........measuring the marigolds...

While at the park the other day an inch worm dropped down onto my shoes and blanket. I put him on a twig and started snapping away.......this is one up close and personal....

My Grandma Custer use to tell me, if and when one of these dropped onto me, they were measuring me for new clothes. I still didn't like them on me. Love you

I like your photos Melinda. I am thinking of getting one of these cameras so I can take some decent close-ups. They are very nice.

It is raining here.

thanks dad. I do love the camera.....it is very easy to work with and has brilliant colors! You can buy it on Amazon.com pretty cheap most times......Sonny just got one for not too much....

Thunder here.....raining off and on. Mr/Mrs. Bunny is out back. He/she pretty much hangs around here all the time now...

I also have a hornet's nest starting in my clothesline pole.....but I doubt I will get too close to take too many pics of that.....though I might try!

Found your site today and am using it as a reference for my poetry course. See Richard Wilbur's "a Measuring Worm," last weeks' New Yorker
