Noah and I went to Cracker Barrel in Piqua, Ohio for breakfast today and then to a small park nearby....where we went leaf hunting for some colorful fall leaves. He eventually went over to the swings to swing for awhile and suddenly shouted out to me "MOMMY!", "There is one of those white squirrels like you showed me on the videoclip on the news yesterday!"
I thought to myself he probably saw a cat so I asked him WHERE it was...and sure enough it WAS an albino squirrel. I went and got my camera out of the truck and zoomed in and tried to keep a steady hand to capture some shots. CHECK HIM OUT! I told Noah this is a once in a lifetime thing for most people if you ever even get a chance to see an albino animal up close and personal. I will post some of the gorgeous trees tomorrow..... here is the little guy...... I found it amazing that we had just seen for the first time on our local tv news channel's website a short videoclip of someone filming an albino squirrel......and we had never seen anything like it......and then we saw this guy for real today!
what's that in the grass??
Can you see him??
running away....
can you see him??

WOW, how lucky can you get. Perhaps that's a sign of some good luck coming your way.
I've never seen one, only albino thing I have ever seen in real life is the mouse Angela had that one time, and I think she called him Pinky.
I've never seen such a thing before! Pretty cool looking...
How cool is that? I have never seen an albino squirrel before. You got some great pictures.
What a beautiful little thing. Lucky you!
Melinda: Your Dad told me about your White Albino Squirrel. I have Black Squirrels in our area and they are a variation of the Grey Squirrel. I can photograph then almost any day. What you caught was a true White Albino Squirrel with the pink eyes and is very rare. Thanks for the show. I have a couple of blacks up now.
WOW! Incredible! Thanks to you, I have now seen an albino squirrel.

Pretty cool! I have 2 squirrel nests in that huge trees next to my apartment. I can see them from my window, actually. They're like a whole family of them living in there.
But an albino squirrel, I've never seen before!
